About Us Krescendi is a Toronto (Canada)-based venture capital firm, focused on early-stage investments in innovative private companies seeking seed or start-up financing. We are looking for projects and companies with: outstanding, energetic and preferably experienced management teams; scalable business models targeted at revenues in excess of $100 million in 4 to 6 years; unique or proprietary technology with preferably properly arranged Intellectual Property rights; marketing-driven and customer-focused approach; and psychological fit between Krescendi and the company teams. Krescendi primarily invests in Ontario-based companies. Occasionally, together with local venture capital partners, we will consider extraordinary early-stage projects and private companies from other parts of Canada or the Globe. Besides capital, Krescendi brings a significant amount of business expertise and management experience to emerging companies. Krescendi always positions itself as an active partner, who from one side is willing to influence the business strategy and all major decisions of the investee, and from the other - actively shares its business network and management experience to facilitate an active and successful growth. Krescendi's ultimate strategy is to create and manage a balanced private equity portfolio of a limited number of companies, which Krescendi believes have significant earning and cash flow potential. Krescendi expects that within a 4-6 year time horizon, these companies will be in a suitable position for an appropriate liquidity event such as public offering of shares or sale to a strategic investor.
